Our Story

Every Story Has a Beginning

Every language carries a world of colours, curiosity and countless new connections. A world that brings people together, opens doors and inspires.

That's how TaalSaga was born – a place where we believe that language learning is not simply about studying words, but about discovering new worlds and cultures.

We believe that every language has its own unique story. Some are hidden in words, others in cultural traditions, while others reveal themselves in the little details of everyday life.

That's why at TaalSaga, we use a personal approach to teaching. We believe that learning a language should be enjoyable, meaningful and inspiring. Our lessons are not just about grammar rules, but about real communication, cultural discoveries and the confidence to express yourself.

Our courses combine language learning with culture and individual attention. We create a welcoming learning environment where everyone can feel comfortable, ask questions and make progress at their own pace.

For us, it's not simply about learning a language. It's about finding your voice, discovering new perspectives and becoming part of a story that continues to grow.

And every story begins with a first step.

Welcome to TaalSaga. Your next chapter starts here!

The TaalSaga teachers

Kera

Dutch Teacher

Hello! I've been teaching Dutch for over 8 years, and I dare say that every day I find at least one more reason to keep doing it – I think the language's reputation as "unpleasant and difficult" is undeserved, and I'm ready to convince you of that! By education, I'm a specialist in German and Dutch studies and a linguist; at heart, I'm an adventurer and a music lover. I believe that every language has its own rhythm, and that with the right approach we can all feel the music in it.

Alongside my love for Dutch and Belgian culture runs another, no smaller passion – the joy of sharing my knowledge and experience, and of inspiring and motivating the people around me. I believe there are many misconceptions about learning a foreign language, and I'm here to replace them with curiosity, confidence and the joy of learning.

Language is a rich system that shouldn't be reduced to memorising words and grammar rules – it comes alive in conversations, stories and jokes, and I promise there will be plenty of those! I value teaching that brings real results, which is why over the years I've developed my own learning materials, tailored to the specific needs of my students.

I keep up with new developments in language teaching methods and love trying out different approaches that make learning more natural and effective. Experience and my love for the profession have convinced me that every group has its own character, so I always try to adapt the materials and activities so that everyone gets the most out of the course.

In my lessons, I care about three things: learning, feeling good and not being afraid to make mistakes. I believe that in a safe, calm and fun atmosphere, anyone can achieve anything!

Elitsa

Danish & Swedish Teacher

Hello! I'm a teacher of Swedish and Danish, and my love for Scandinavian languages and cultures has long been an inseparable part of my life. I have a background in Scandinavian Studies and Linguistics, along with many years of teaching experience. My time in Sweden and Denmark has also given me the opportunity to experience the languages and cultures beyond the classroom.

I believe that learning a language should be not only useful, but also enjoyable, inspiring and fun. That's why my lessons focus on practical language use, real-life communication and active participation from every student. Over the years, I've created a wide range of original language games and interactive activities that make even the most complicated grammar rules more accessible and engaging.

For me, there's no one-size-fits-all approach to teaching. I always try to adapt the topics, materials and activities to my students' interests, goals and needs, so that learning feels as natural and enjoyable as possible. I love incorporating authentic materials, interesting cultural insights and topics that spark conversations and help us explore the unique features of the Nordic countries.

Above all, I want to create a warm and relaxed atmosphere where making mistakes is a natural part of learning, questions are always welcome and every little step forward is a reason to celebrate. Because I believe that the best results come when learning is something you genuinely enjoy!
